Dante, some dude in the 16th century or so, wrote a book describing Heaven, Hell and Purgatory. It was called the
Divine
Comedy. He described our modern interpretation of the Christian realms of the afterlife. We have no idea how
he got to those places and he proved them, but I have found signs that these place DO exist on Earth.
